Bush Seyferth Celebrates the Summer Associate Class of 2026

As Sophie Hart, Jacob Packard, Iliana Wilson, and Chase Young conclude their time as Bush Seyferth Summer Associates, we are proud to reflect on a summer filled with meaningful work, professional development, and opportunities to experience the firm’s culture firsthand.

Throughout the program, our Summer Associates worked alongside attorneys on substantive assignments, gained insight into life as a litigation attorney, and participated in professional development programs designed to strengthen their skills and confidence. They also built relationships both within the firm and across the local legal community through networking events, firm outings, and shadowing opportunities.

The program concluded with Bush Seyferth’s inaugural Summer Associate Opening Statement Exercise. Each Summer Associate prepared and delivered an opening statement on a topic of their choice before a panel of Bush Seyferth partners and colleagues. The exercise challenged them to think creatively, develop a compelling argument, and put their advocacy and presentation skills into practice.

Following the presentations, the group celebrated at Crab & Karaoke—a Bush Seyferth Summer Associate tradition and a memorable way to close out the program.

We are grateful to Sophie, Jacob, Iliana, and Chase for the talent, curiosity, and enthusiasm they brought to Bush Seyferth this summer. We are proud of all they accomplished and look forward to following their continued success.
