Lucas H. Wollenzien focuses his practice on class actions.

Prior to joining BSP Law, Lucas worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Consumer Protection Division at the Texas Office of the Attorney General in Austin, TX. In that role, Lucas led 25+ investigations and lawsuits for the State of Texas, including an investigation of telemarketing misconduct, investigations into deceptive auto-marketing campaigns, and several price-gouging investigations. He further served as lead counsel in multistate attorneys general investigations, including in a $430M settlement with a major e-cigarette company. Lucas also worked on such matters as tech-support scam lawsuits, an investigation of a kratom business, and an investigation of a nationwide data-breach.

During law school, Lucas served as a Summer Law Clerk for the Consumer Protection Division at the Texas Office of the Attorney General and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Gershwin A. Drain for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He also worked as a student attorney with the University of Michigan Law School’s legal clinics, including the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic, the Child Advocacy Law Clinic, the Environmental Law Clinic, and the Federal Appellate Litigation Clinic.

Lucas received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2017. He received his Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Texas at Austin.
