Monica S. Batsford focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She has experience in various practice areas including medical malpractice, commercial litigation, family law, and probate.
- Obtained near-six-figure judgment and a sanctions award against several claimants after discovering fraudulent accident evidence.
Prior to joining Bush Seyferth PLLC, Monica was an Associate Attorney at Saurbier Law Firm. During Law School, Monica focused primarily on transactional law, legal research and writing. She was a member of Wayne Law’s Business and Community Law Clinic where she worked with for-profit and nonprofit organizations to address their transactional legal needs.
Monica received her J.D, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in 2018. There she served as an Article Editor for the Journal of Law and Society and was a founding member of the Journal of Business where she served as Executive Editor. She also received her B.A.S. from Eastern Michigan University. Monica speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
