BSP Voted as 2009 Top Lawyers
TROY, Mich. — Bush Seyferth & Paige PLLC (BSP), a leading litigation firm in Troy, today announced that partners Cheryl A. Bush, Patrick G. Seyferth and Rick W. Paige have been voted as part of DBusiness magazine’s 2009 list of Top Lawyers. Bush and Seyferth are recognized for their work in product litigation and Paige for his work in business litigation.
DBusiness’ Top Lawyers are selected through a peer-review survey distributed to lawyers and members of the judiciary. The publication received thousands of responses to comprise this year’s list, which appears in the November/December issue.
Bush co-leads the firm’s National Trial Practice for product liability defense and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Product Liability Advisory Council, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. In a recent year, the National Association of Women Business Owners honored Bush with their “Breakthrough Award,” which ranked her among the top 10 female business owners in Michigan.
Seyferth co-leads the firm’s National Trial Practice for product liability defense. He has extensive first-chair trial experience, with favorable outcomes in major product liability and commercial litigation cases, specializing in the defense of high exposure product liability cases, commercial litigation and class actions. He has obtained successful results in significant litigation in 23 states.
Paige leads the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice for general business and commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Paige’s expertise focuses on commercial contract disputes, business torts, unfair competition and trade secret matters, corporate governance claims, insurance coverage and securities litigation, among other related areas. Paige also works extensively on product safety issues in the automotive industry.
