BSP Helps Secure Favorable Settlement for Manufacturer

On behalf of a manufacturer, BSP partnered with a trial team as embedded appellate counsel to prepare pre-trial motions and jury instructions in advance of a federal trial in Georgia.  The team obtained pre-trial rulings that foreclosed Plaintiff’s punitive damages claim, excluded purported other-incidents evidence, and left Plaintiff’s lone liability expert’s opinions vulnerable to exclusion.  The parties settled on favorable terms before trial.
