Michael Williams Acted as Appellate and Motions Counsel in Product-Liability Case

BSP’s Michael Williams acted as appellate and motions counsel in a recent product-liability trial involving Ford Motor Company and one of its dealers.  Plaintiff alleged that the reflective part of a side-view mirror broke off, flew into the cab of her vehicle, and struck her in the head.  She sought damages for post-concussion syndrome and more.  After a two-week trial, the jury returned a complete verdict for Ford and the dealer, rejecting Plaintiff’s theory that there must have been a manufacturing defect—and instead finding no defect at all.
