BSP Secures Sixth Circuit Affirmance in ADA Suit Against Ford

This week, BSP attorneys Derek Linkous and Brittney Kohn secured a Sixth Circuit decision affirming the dismissal of an Americans with Disabilities Act claim brought by a former employee against Ford Motor Company.  The Sixth Circuit agreed with Ford’s position that the former employee’s claims were untimely.  The three-judge panel also refused to allow a new claim for race discrimination to be raised for the first time on appeal.  This closes the chapter on a case whose genesis was over forty years ago with the employee’s termination in 1981.
