Celebrate Diversity Month is a time dedicated to celebrating and learning about the cultures, backgrounds, and traditions of people within our own community.
Created in 2004, this month is a national observance to “recognize and honor the diversity surrounding us all”. There are many ways to celebrate diversity:
- Read up on a different religion
- Explore cultures through poems, art, food, and music
- Support diverse businesses
- Visit an exhibition or museum dedicated to other cultures
- Learn another language
This year, BSPers are celebrating Diversity Month with a luncheon. Each BSPer brought a dish to pass that represents them, their family, their background, or their culture.
