BSP Law Celebrates Pride Month

Happy LGBTQI+ Pride Month!

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI) Pride Month is celebrated each year in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. Pride Month commemorates years of struggle for civil rights and the ongoing pursuit of equal justice under the law for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community, as well as the accomplishments of LGBTQI individuals.

BSP supports the LGTBQI+ community and encourages everyone to live authentic lives. In honor of Pride Month, BSP will be making a donation to Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center in Ferndale, MI. Affirmations’ mission is to provide a welcoming space where people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and cultures can find support and unconditional acceptance, and where they can learn, grow, socialize and feel safe.
