New Members and Chief Marketing Officer Named at BSP Law
TROY, Mich. — BSP Law is pleased to announce three promotions within the firm.
Katie L. Bryk has been named Chief Marketing Officer. Katie has served as BSP’s Marketing Director since 2012. Katie administers all aspects of the firm’s marketing, including: branding, social media, event planning, business development, and charitable efforts. She works with attorneys to plan and execute strategic goals and creates marketing plans to support their respective practice areas. Katie is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and formerly served as Co-Chair of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms’ Marketing Best Practices Group. She was also honored by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as an Unsung Legal Hero – Class of 2018. Katie received her Bachelor of Science degree from Baker College, with a concentration in Interior Design. She earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Walsh College. Katie was nominated for Who’s Who Among American College Students in 2006 and received recognition from academic advisors for “High Honors Graduate.”
In addition, Bush Seyferth PLLC is proud to announce two new Members: Derek J. Linkous and Justin B. Weiner.
Derek J. Linkous focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on critical motions and appeals. He has experience with a broad range of business litigation, including class actions, contract disputes, environmental issues, and product liability. Trial tested, he frequently represents original equipment manufacturers in state and federal courts throughout the country, assisting with presenting the most persuasive legal arguments and preserving the record. Derek received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, magna cum laude, in 2011, and clerked on both the Fifth and Sixth Circuits.
Justin B. Weiner focuses his practice on complex business litigation, including work as National Discovery Counsel in product liability and class action cases. He also has an extensive background in litigation regarding intellectual property. Justin has experience earning favorable results for his clients in state and federal courts in motion practice, on appeals, and in trials. Justin graduated from The University of Chicago, The Law School, with honors, in 2007.
