8.18.23 – Bill McDonald to Moderate at the Defense Research Institute Strictly Automotive Seminar

BSP Law Member Bill McDonald is moderating a presentation at the DRI Strictly Automotive Seminar on Friday, August 18, in Washington, D.C.

The presentation, titled “Defending Optional Equipment Decisions in Heavy Duty Trucks,” will focus on how product liability claims centered on the offering of equipment and features as optional are nothing new, and, as manufacturers innovate and products evolve, these claims are sure to continue. This experienced panel will discuss the challenges posed by these matters and effective defense strategies in the context of heavy-truck litigation.

The panel will feature Sally Bowman (Mack Trucks Inc. and Volvo Group North America) and Marc Carlton (Daimler Trucks North America).
