BSP Law Member Amy Bice Larson Testified Before the Federal Advisory Committee
BSP Law Member Amy Bice Larson testified before the Federal Advisory Committee on the Civil Rules. Her comments centered on the committee’s proposed amendments and proposed comments to FRCP 16 AND 26 related to the format and contents of privilege logs. She offered the committee examples of how the default practice of requiring document-by-document privilege logs in cases that involve large document productions is unduly burdensome to the producing party and not helpful to the receiving party. She also answered questions from the Advisory Committee, which is a committee of federal judges, practicing lawyers, law professors, and state chief justices appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
