5.2.24 – BSP Attorneys to Lead Discussions at The Trial Network Conference

BSP Members Stephanie Douglas, Moheeb Murray and Justin Weiner will participate in panels at The Trial Network’s upcoming conference titled “Sun, Surf, and Strategies.” The conference will take place from May 2-5 in Amelia Island, Florida.

Justin Weiner will present in the breakout session entitled “Trade Secret Damages: An Old, Unresolved Issue with Potentially Big Consequences,” which will explore developments in trade secrets law; ways to favorably shape future regulations; and strategies to mitigate risk, respond to post-separation demands, and achieve favorable litigation outcomes.

Stephanie Douglas will lead a presentation titled, “When Class Actions are Trending, You Need Tools for Defending,” which will highlight the trend of no-injury class actions, explain how the courts are responding, and provide practical tools for bucking the trend.

Moheeb Murray will moderate a breakout session entitled “The New Normal for Juries? Safetyism, Emotional Thinking, and High Damages,” which will examine independent research supporting troubling jury trends and provide solutions for voir dire, jury selection, and themes to counter the risk of nuclear verdicts.
