BSP Law Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15th marked the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, which is a time to celebrate Hispanic and Latinx/o/a American independence, culture, and heritage.
Hispanic Americans are the largest minority group in the United States today, and for generations they have helped make our country strong and prosperous.
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, BSP Law hosted our fourth annual drawing competition for the students at César Chávez Academy Upper Elementary in Detroit.
Students were given the opportunity to create a drawing depicting what Hispanic Heritage Month means to them. Out of several creative and thoughtful submissions, BSP Law selected two students who each won a pizza party for their class. BSP Law also donated to the academy.
Check out the winning artwork – Evelyn (Grade 5) and Emma (Grade 4).
