Darin J. Lang focuses his practice on product liability litigation and commercial motor vehicle litigation. He is experienced in arbitrations, mediations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and has appeared on behalf of his clients in state and federal courts in Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
- As lead counsel, obtained a complete defense verdict in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in a suit filed against a commercial vehicle OEM involving a catastrophic injury crash, alleging a defective design and failure to warn.
- As lead counsel, obtained a complete defense verdict in Huntington, West Virginia in a suit filed against a commercial vehicle OEM involving a multiple-fatality crash, and claims that the vehicle was defectively designed and manufactured.
- As lead counsel, obtained a complete defense verdict in Santa Fe, New Mexico in a suit filed against a commercial vehicle OEM involving a fatality crash, and claims that the vehicle was defectively designed and that the manufacturer failed to warn foreseeable users of the allegedly dangerous condition.
- As lead counsel, obtained a favorable verdict in Trinidad, Colorado, in a suit filed against a sports equipment manufacturer involving catastrophic brain injuries that occurred during a sporting event, and claims that the equipment was defectively designed and manufactured and that the manufacturer failed to warn users of alleged dangers.
- As lead counsel, obtained a complete defense verdict in Denver, Colorado in a suit filed against a commercial vehicle OEM involving a fatality crash and claims that the vehicle was defectively designed and manufactured.
- Tried multiple first-chair jury trials to verdict on behalf of major retailers and self-insured business in Nebraska and Colorado state and federal court, in lawsuits involving personal injury, premises liability, and commercial disputes.
- Managed claims and litigation on a regional and national basis on behalf of automotive OEMs, commercial vehicle OEMs, and security and fire protection manufacturers.
Before joining Bush Seyferth PLLC, Darin was an Attorney and Mediator at Lang Legal Consulting PLLC. Darin was also a Partner at two Denver law firms. He has tried numerous cases to verdict across the country and has appeared and participated on behalf of clients in arbitrations, mediations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Darin received his J.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University.
