Mahde Y. Abdallah litigates complex commercial, tort, and class action cases in federal and state courts for clients ranging from global manufacturing companies to private individuals.

Business and Commercial Litigation

  • Counseled and defended automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEM) regarding their supplier disputes
  • Obtained dismissal of a nine-figure federal contract lawsuit on behalf of a Chinese automotive OEM
  • Secured dismissal of a multi-million-dollar product liability lawsuit on behalf of a broker of oil centrifuge parts
  • Won a $4.8 million arbitration award in a quick serve restaurant franchise dispute

Insurance Litigation

  • Secured pre-discovery dismissal for insurer in a product-liability and auto-negligence matter on statute-of-limitations grounds
  • Obtained pre-trial dismissal of personal injury protection lawsuits and claims based on priority, prior-release, and res-judicata grounds

Additional Matters

  • Won pre-trial dismissal of Telephone Consumer Protection Act lawsuit

Prior to joining BSP Law, Mahde practiced law at The Miller Law Firm, P.C., where he focused on  complex commercial disputes and class action litigation. While in law school, he served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Judge Linda V. Parker at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and Wayne County Third Circuit Court. Mahde also clerked for NORMA Group, a global market and technology leader in innovative joining-technology solutions, and Allen Brothers, PLLC. Prior to the practice of law, Mahde gained considerable real estate experience as a licensed Realtor. He also served as a community liaison for the Michigan House of Representatives 10th District office.

Mahde is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he received his Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, in Philosophy and Political Science and served as the student body Vice President. Mahde went on to receive his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in May 2015.  At Wayne Law, Mahde was elected by the faculty to the Order of the Coif and was a recipient of the Arthur F. Lederle Scholarship, Robert and Marie Fayz Scholarship, and Michigan Muslim Bar Association Scholarship. He also served as a Student Attorney with the Wayne State University Law School Asylum and Immigration Clinic and as a member of the Student Trial Advocacy Program and Student Board of Governors.
