9.9.21 – BSP Attorneys to Present at DRI Strictly Auto Conference

Amy Larson and Derek Linkous will be presenting at DRI’s 2021 Strictly Automotive seminar, which will be taking place from September 9-11, 2021, in Washington, D.C.

On Friday, September 10, Amy Larson will be presenting “Total Recall: Navigating the Phantom ‘Defect’ Claim” along with Alan DeGraw of FCA USA LLC. The presentation will discuss how phantom recall can come into play in lawsuits and best practices for handling it.

Derek Linkous will be presenting “Abundant Data: ADAS Features Enabling Early Understanding of Crash Dynamics” on Saturday, September 11, with Pamela Tonglao of Paccar Inc. The presentation will provide insight into how the data available from new vehicle technologies, like advanced radar and camera technologies, can empower those litigating cases involving vehicles with that technology to understand and evaluate the crash dynamics early and cost-effectively, and how this sort of data may soon become commonplace in product liability litigation.
